1. Bexhill Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals booked through Bexhill are governed by a detailed Rental Agreement provided with your booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The Rental Agreement outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance provisions, applicable charges and your responsibilities for the particular rental. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Bexhill Eligibility

To hire a vehicle from Bexhill, you must:

  • Be aged 21 or over to hire from Bexhill (age limits may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a full, valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, kept for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photo identification and evidence of address, together with a payment card in the hirer’s name, at the point of collection.

3. Bexhill Booking and Payment

  • Bookings may be made via our website, by telephone, or in person at our Bexhill location. A booking deposit could be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and the security deposit are usually payable when you collect the vehicle. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable...

4. Bexhill Vehicle Collection and Return

  • At collection, you must inspect the vehicle and report any existing damage to Bexhill immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed. Return the vehicle in the same condition as at collection, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed by Bexhill and charged in line with applicable fees.

5. Bexhill Insurance and Liability

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Bexhill rentals. Complete coverage terms and excess amounts appear in the Rental Agreement. Optional insurance products may be offered to lower the amount you could be liable for. Please review these options carefully. You remain responsible for damage or loss up to the excess specified in the agreement.

6. Bexhill Cancellation and Changes

Cancellation and amendment policies for Bexhill depend on the booking type and the required notice period. Consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the specific terms that apply. Late cancellations or no-shows can result in charges.

7. Bexhill Prohibitions

You must not use a Bexhill rental vehicle for:

  • Use of a Bexhill vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity. Engaging in racing, rallying, off-roading or other hazardous activities. Conveying hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting the vehicle to third parties or permitting drivers who are not authorized. Operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Using the vehicle for purposes outside its intended design or specifications.

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate termination of the Bexhill rental and additional charges.

8. Bexhill Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Bexhill will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Bexhill for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law (Bexhill)

These Terms for Bexhill are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Bexhill Terms

Bexhill may amend these Terms at any time. Any changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
